Habersham Metal Products

Thomas USAF and Community Bank & Trust (LaGrange, GA) originated and underwrote the $2,800,000mil SBA International Trade (IT) loan to Habersham Metal Products Company which is located in Cornelia, Georgia. The purpose of the loan was to refinance existing debt and provide working capital to expand its security product lines for domestic and international applications.

Habersham Metal Products was established in 1954 as a manufacturer of commercial hollow frame doors and windows for the post-war building boom in the Southeast. During its 60 years of continuous operation, the company has expanded, developing and manufacturing custom products addressing the needs of commercial, detention and correctional facilities, and most recently, commercial security applications, including bullet and blast-resistant products, worldwide.

In addition to the US, Habersham Metal Products has manufactured products exported to Mexico, Iraq, Afghanistan, Singapore, Netherlands Bermuda, Turkey and the Caribbean.
