Hulsey Environmental Services was originally formed in 1974 as a commercial and industrial plumbing company. They also provided industrial, commercial and residential wastewater disposal and treatment. In 2012, two new divisions of the company were created which separate used fats, oils and greases from the wastewater sludge generated from commercial chicken and food processing facilities. One division focused on food processing plant waste and the other focused on restaurant grease trap services and disposal/recycling of used cooking oil. With new, innovative technology and an integrated approach to the business, Hulsey is paving the way to a new direction in waste management in the food industry.
