History

Thomas USAF Group originated and underwrote an $8,130,000 Million USDA B&I loan and a $3,615,000 Million SBA loan to Atlanta Motorsports Park, LLC (AMP), a motorsports park that is headquartered in Dawsonville, Georgia. The loans will be used to refinance debt, providing the borrower with a longer maturity, and fund construction of a new karting center and rental garages.

AMP is the first green, sustainable motorsports park of its kind, for high-performance cars, motorcycles and karts. In addition to providing a driver’s haven for its 475 members, Atlanta Motorsports Park offers track rentals and corporate group options as well as the world’s most unique kart track, which was designed by one of Formula One’s premier architects, Hermann Tilke. This two-mile road circuit is a motorsports masterpiece featuring aggressive elevation changes, a technical circuit layout, high-octane speed straights, and two “signature” corners as a tribute to Europe’s finest and most respected road circuits – Belgium’s Spa-Francochamps and Germany’s Nurburgring.

At closing, Thomas USAF purchased the guaranteed portion of the loan from the bank, paying them a premium.
