The company was established in 1998 as a specialty chemical production company servicing semiconductor manufacturers in North Austin. The company manufactures and distributes a broad range of chemical products and logistics services to companies in the oil and gas industry, semiconductor and technology industry and municipal utilities in TX, AR, OK and CO. In 2009, the company started manufacturing in Greenville, Texas to control its own supply of chemical products. Salt is one of the main products used in manufacturing bleach and the plant is located near Grand Saline, Texas, which has the second-largest mining output in the US. In 2011, it partnered to form Colorado Salt Products to produce caustic soda, bleach and hydrochloric acid. The company’s customers include Halliburton and Schlumberger. They are in the process of adding a calcium chloride plant in Greenville which is used in highway maintenance, construction, oil and gas as well as wastewater treatment.
