The $5 Million USDA B&I loan was used to purchase land, construct the tracks and facilities at this recreational and performance karting complex, as well as provide working capital for the Speedsportz Racing Park at Grand Texas, a venture led by developer Tim Crawford and kart-racing veteran Alan Rudolph. The project site is part of larger entertainment development, NW of Houston, and will provide state of the art tracks, storage and maintenance facilities, gaming attractions and a racing school led by Mr Rudolph, a world renowned driver and trainer. The project will feature a rental concession track, performance racing track, storage facilities for karts and the Alan Rudolph Racing Academy.
